Raising awareness and funds for cancer patients has been among the main focuses of the American Cancer Society. Both have been achieved through the Relay for Life, an overnight community fundraising walk held in different parts of the country. Considered the largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer, it’s essentially a celebration and a call to action to finish the fight once and for all.
